At the end of 15th century, Leonardo Da Vinci created a drawing of an ideal man in two superimposed positions with his arms and legs apart and simultaneously inscribed in a square and circle. This drawing has been traditionally named Vitruvius in honor of the architect and is often used as a symbol of the symmetry of the human body, and by extension to the universe!
