Last week, the 6th graders learned the theory of primary and secondary colours. So, do they know now? A colour wheel is a circle we use to structure colours. We can divide colours in different categories based on the colour wheel.
Primary colours cannot be formed or mixed by
any combination of other colours. So, secondary colours are formed by mixing
equal parts of two primary colours. But… what happens if we mix a primary and a
secondary colour? We get the tertiary colour.
Tertiary colours are the colours formed by
mixing a primary and secondary colour.
The 6th grade students use the
colour wheel to combine colours harmoniously. Do you want to know the result? Look
at these pictures and enjoy them!
