HERE THEY ARE!

A promise is a promise and here we have them, the pictures of the shadow puppet plays for you to enjoy. The plays covered a variety of genres from fantasy to crime capers. All of them performed well and demonstrated their creativity and talent for writing and acting in English. Well done 6^th year!

PREPARING SHADOW PUPPET PLAYS

For two weeks, the students of 6th grade have been planning and writing plays using shadow puppets. They wrote the story in the past tense and then created their own shadow puppets. This activity is tied in with the project on cinema they’ve been working on. They’re going to perform their plays next week. It will be worth the wait!

RETHINK YOUR DRINK

The students of 6th grade are doing a project researching the sugar content in various drinks. In science class we have calculated the average amount of sugar in 330 ml of each drink. We have found, to our surprise, that juices generally contain higher amounts of sugar than even notorious fizzy drinks such as Coke, Red Bull and Aquarius. So… rethink your drink!

VISITEM CAN VIDAL

El passat dijous 19 de març, els alumnes de 6è de primària van anar a visitar Can Vidal, una antiga colònia tèxtil a prop de Puig-reig. La visita va ser d’allò més interessant i tots ells van poder prendre consciència de les condicions de vida i de treball de fa només cent anys!
